Richard Jager joins Board of Directors, as Mark van Haasteren steps down
Vebego has announced that Richard Jager will join the international family business on 1 November 2026, as the newest member of its Board of Directors. He will succeed Mark van Haasteren, who has decided to step down after eight years as a board member.
Richard Jager brings extensive international experience as a CEO and board supervisor within HR services and healthcare. For over 15 years, he headed various international divisions of the Randstad Group. Richard is an inspiring, visionary leader with a deep commitment to employee engagement.
Since his appointment in 2019, Mark van Haasteren has played a massive role in guiding the organisation through its biggest challenges. Mark did that with a strong customer focus and a great deal of decisiveness and responsibility. After these intensive and demanding years, he is ready for a new chapter. Mark plans to pursue a degree in history and expand his supervisory board portfolio across both profit and non-profit organizations. He will also continue to represent Vebego’s interests in a few of the company’s ongoing partnerships.
