2025 Annual Report: Stronger results as Vebego capitalises on years of integration
Voerendaal, 5 June 2026 – Vebego looks back on a year in which the organisation noticeably reaped the fruits of recent changes. In 2025 the family company increased its revenue by 5.6%, to €1.63 billion (2024: €1.54 billion), and saw its net profit rise to €33.9 million (2024: €7.6 million). The year 2025 marks the moment when the integration of recent years visibly translated into improved performance.
People make the difference
Vebego owes its growth to the dedication of almost 39,000 employees who do their part each day for cleaner and healthier surroundings. That’s how they contribute to a world where people can be at their best. The organisation has been redesigned from the ground up in recent years: more than 80 companies were consolidated into eight core companies, processes were harmonised and the focus was placed on advancing a single brand, a shared culture and a way of working in which ‘kindness’ is central.
This development can be seen in the way that teams are working together and in the quality of the services provided. The customers see it too: the Net Promoter Score increased to +46 and over half of customers actively recommend Vebego. Moreover, employee engagement remains at a high level, despite the fundamentally tight labour market. This is in line with Vebego’s belief that distinctive quality starts with people who feel seen and valued, and who feel they have the freedom to be their best selves.
Growth from core activities
The increase in revenue stems largely from cleaning activities in the Netherlands and Belgium, and from facility management in the Netherlands. Vebego also succeeded in extending and expanding long-term collaborations as well as acquiring new contracts in large and complex locations, including airports.
The improved net result is the product of this growth, combined with changes to the group portfolio and the positive effects of the transformation in recent years. This is leading to better results, particularly in Belgium and the Netherlands. In Germany, market conditions continue to pose a challenge.
Innovation and impact
Vebego continues to invest in innovation, utilising technology as the means to support people in their work and to help them realise their full potential. Digital tools and robotics are being employed to make room for sincere personal attention, human contact and those little gestures that add big value to our service for customers.
At the same time, Vebego is making advancements in the field of sustainability and social impact. The CO₂ emissions from its own operations have been reduced further, and over half the Dutch fleet is now electric. In addition, the company remains actively committed to creating jobs for people who face obstacles on the labour market.
Future ambition
With the most important changes complete, as of 2025 the focus clearly shifted from making changes to building further on the foundation that has now been laid. Vebego is oriented towards strengthening its position in the four key markets and further improving performance, always by honouring the promise to let people – customers and employees alike – be the best version of themselves.
In the words of CEO Ton Goedmakers, ‘2025 shows that the choices we made in recent years are working. We have confidently entered a new phase, where our companies develop their offerings for customers in line with the group strategy. We are staying the course, improving step by step and continuing to build on what we have been doing for more than 80 years now: contributing to a society in which everyone is able to participate and thus to make a difference in the world around them. In 2026, under the motto “Go out, stand out”, we are working on our visibility to customers and our visibility in the market.’
